I was on the phone with my vet this am but will take him in tomorrow morning. My other babies are at my moms for tonight and If all goes well I'll have them home after the vet visit.

Aweeee!!! Wouldn't that be something! I mean, obviously, I think the owner should be contacted and given the chance at having his or her furbaby back, but if they never come looking, I hope your Mom does adopt the chihuahua, then her and Armanti could always see one another :-) I hope the lump and his leg is nothing serious. Has he been to the vet yet? Let us know what you find out. I wonder if the leg and lump is due to the attack, I'm sure the scar is. I wonder if AC even really put the pitbull down? If not, that's really scarey that he or she could still be out there and hurting other animals.

I was looking at the pic you took about a year ago and the today pics. There is no doubt that is him. I'm not at all surprised he recognized his mommie! They never forget. You can snuggle with him tonight!

That's great! Where did you get him groomed? Did he have any fleas?
I am so curious about where he has been. Maybe you can call vet offices around the animal shelter and see if any of them had a very injured Yorkie come in last February. It might lead you to whomever had him.

From his before pic it looks like his body was recently shaved...so I don't think he had just been running free for the last year.

I have always groomed my babies I went to grooming school just for them
I dont like them being stressed in any was. He did not have any fleas but he was matted realy bad so his coat is not nice but I'll work on it

Another thought...I think you should report this to the police and the local news stations. This animal services place needs to be held accountable!

What is the name of it? I would even make a thread on here to that it is searchable in case others are looking for their missing pups too. Who knows how many times this has happened there in the past!
