Actually, you might want to go back and re-read a few posts. I didn't accuse you of ever owning Greenfield puppies. I asked if you were affiliated with them....twice. You never did answer my question. ??? Then I said you were in "support" of them and wished you the best of luck in your search for a new puppy.

To each his own. That's not something I am interested in.

Its legal everywhere as far as I know its legal when they are 8 weeks I think. Reputable breeders do not breed mixes there for if that site has them listed they are not reputable breeders.

I am lost as to what it is you truly need/want from this thread. If you want to discuss the merits of shopping on line and how to create a website that can showcase reputable breeders and their pups; perhaps start a new thread.

If you want help in finding a puppy for yourself; then you have been given lots of very good directions and advise. It is up to you to take what you have received in this regard, because truly from what I have read, and what I know, there is nothing else, nowhere else I can suggest you go to start your search for your pup, that has not already been said.

The Internet is a powerful resource. It helps many people with Yorkie questions on YT. There is no reason that power cannot be harnessed to easily find reputable breeders.

In adopting a human infant would you expect it to jump into your lap within minutes of searching?

Living beings take time to be created and born, and searching for the right one.... wouldn't you expect to have to put in some time and effort? You're searching for a living being that will be part of your family for hopefully 15 or more years.

My college-aged kids bought me my current yorkie. They talked to and met ALOT of breeders. It was through conversations with reputable breeders who didn't have any puppies at that time, that they were referred to more reputable breeders. They spent hours making phone calls, driving to visit breeders, looking at sires & dams, asking questions and looking at alot of puppies. Admittedly, they were raised with a show-quality looking yorkie (though not temperament) from early childhood so knew what a yorkie should look like. They knew to look for AKC dogs, get a copy of the health guarantee, and even went so far as to ask for references of current owners of the breeders pups and also got vet references.

I'm assuming you're an adult....so if my then 18 and 20 year old kids could do the research and put the effort into finding a quality puppy from a reputable breeder, you should be capable of doing so to.

So, the entire site is no good if some of the breeders have mixed breeds and others do not? I'm guessing you're going to tell me not to shop on eBay too -- since some of the sellers have a bad reputation. This is just not sound reasoning.

We all find value in different things. What you may not find valuable, someone else might.

For instance...if someone comes to this site and searches for "Greenfield Puppies" this thread will come up. I'm pretty sure it will be VERY valuable to them.
