| Has this dog been medically checked to make sure there isnt a medical reason for the peeing. I had a cat that just started pooping on the bed and it ended up she had worms. Your dog could have a UTI. After that if all checks out okay I think you need a personal trainer because if there is no medical reason this dog has serious issues that need to be addressed one by one. I do think the dog is afraid of you and it may be that you are so big and have a loud voice to it and it gets scared. You need to put an xpen in front of your door. That dog is going to get hit by a car you have to think proactively rather than reactively. Best of luck I can sense your frustration and feel for you

| Im off work at the moment the dog will be going to the vet when I return. As for the running it has gotten much better I am now sure to make sure I know where she is before I open the door. A fence is a project I would like to have soon, however it will have to be very big and my yard is full of hills so im not sure when I will want to tackle that one the peeing on the walk not much came out oddly enough i was watching for it , just a dribble sometimes nothing I think she was simply marking her scent |

| I think if you are open to make changes and be consistent, love on her A LOT, and try to remember to speak higher, you may join the Big Man/Little Yorkie Club. My breeder says she is absolutely surprised how many big men have these little yorkie girls just love them to death. Everywhere my husband goes and takes one of these little girls w him, ppl always comment "Isn't that cute. Opposites attract." Just makes these changes and give it some time.

| Forgot to mention, Chachi's right. You might want to take her to the vet to make sure she does not have a bladder infection or anything medically wrong that is making her urinate so much.

| We have a chain link fence in our front yard and a privacy fence in back and it comes in handy. I can tell you really care about this dog and you are trying everything you can try

| When you say big men it makes me think of my Dad and husband with our Yorkie (granted my husband is only 5'9). But my Dad is 6'6 and is one of the most gentle, kind, patient, and loving pet owners I own. He'd rahter die then hurt his grand dog (Gizmo) or his dog (Cammie). Like I said, patience, and love this dog like there's not tomorrow to start building that trust relationship. Trust me, it's worth it.

| I guess im marrying into the big man little dog world. Never thought that would happen haha. I like mastiffs, pitbulls (which suprisingly to some are a very easy to train and lovable dog) valley bulldogs and that sort of animal. But Im over the "I look ridiculous walking this little thing" attitude had a while ago and ready to try to make a new friend rather than seeing her as a little mess making pee machine lol |

![]() Just the other day, hubby said; huh never thought I'd love an ankle biter like you! You've made a convert out of me!. I smiled. But it did take a bit of time. Razz was always a tad leery of this big man. Not that my hubby ever lifted a finger, but his voice is deep and strong, and for a wee pup that is scarey enough. Now Razzle goes to hubby in the mornings (after our walk), to do lap time on Dad's lap. He owns that lap! I do think though, it is about contrast, big/small. I know that when I walk Magic (I'm a small woman), we can literally stop traffic. Big black hairy beastie, walking beside small woman. He looks bigger because of my short size. We usually get a wide berth But I've had cars stop to say, wow what is he? That is one big dog.

| Totally botched up some of the words in my post. I.E. Know instead of own and what not. But whatever the case, a Yorkie is the big dog attitude in a travel size package.

| don't think he's a troll. glad to see someone stick through it and ask for help and keep trying to get an answer. good luck with the little girl. once she trusts you more i'm sure she will open up. my little rescue pup had some excitement peeing and afraid peeing when i got him. we just kept on loving him through it and now he only accidentally pees when he's held it a long time and Sadie "gets" at him and scares him. you can do it! what's your pup's name?? i wanna see some pics of her sometime too |

| The writing style of the op looks very familiar. The all lower case here and there and so on as well as the lack of punctuation, etc. hmm....

| Yorkies respond to positive reinforcement not yelling and punishment. Really need a behaviorist who knows Yorkies/Terriers. Need to do that soon, right after vet check. Won't happen over night -- be patient!

| pretty sure shes got an overactive bladder. She doesnt hide from me anymore I guess thats step 1 lol Still pees quite a bit though, she even squats down. Thats why I had thought she was doing it on purpose, if shes laying on the couch or in bed i can look at her and if she begins to raise a leg I know I HAVE TO LOOK AWAY immediately or there will be a mess! I had dismissed the over active bladder idea before because of the way she seems to anticipate it I thought maybe she was doing it all on purpose because she hadnt been taught to control herself before, and thats why i started scolding her for it which in turn made her scared of me instead of excited. And really helped nothing if not made it worse. But, at least she will stick around me now and not pee out of fear as much as before. As I said before though, i never physically hurt the dog so I dont think it will be too hard to fix the timidness as she really has no reason to fear other than loud noises lol |
