| This worries me. There's a border collie that lives in my apartment complex that always looks like shes gonna attack my Lola. She belongs to a handicapped man in a powerchair, and though shes leashed I get upset seeing her walking because he lets her walk with the leash on the ground sometimes. I've taken to picking Lola up the moment I see her and cutting our potty time short, but I'm afraid there's gonna be a time where I don't spot Boomer ahead of time and her leash wont be on. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do. I know if Boomer attacks Lola it'll be bad. She's picked fights with my lab before I don't wanna see my little baby get hurt.

| OMG! I know EXACTLY how you feel! I live in a HUGE apartment complex. There are tons of dogs. My next door neighbor has 2. One is so mean it has to be muzzled. Lucky is so so afraid of him. When he sees him coming, he starts running and tugging to go inside. Sometimes I am afraid that he will attack Lucky (he attacked a women that lives here over the summer and she ended up in the hospital). I dont have any advice, just saying I can understand how you feel.

| Wow if he put someone in the hospital, isn't that grounds for having the dog taken away?? In California that dog would have been gone the same day. I don't think its fair to allow people to have aggressive dogs in an apartment complex its too much of a risk to dog owners.

| Please Don't suffer in silence. Forget any pity for the man in the chair that makes you be too polite and silent. Protect your Yorkie. TELL the owner you are afraid. Tell him the dog dragging it's leash, makes you very worried. Tell him you don't want any hard feeling or trouble. Tell him you don't want to hurt his dog but, you can't take a chance, because your dog is so little that you will do what you have to be safe. BUY pepper spray and carry it, carry an umbrella or walking stick. Do what you have to, to keep you and your Yorkie safe. This may sound very harsh, and even over reacting. I don't want to read about this dog hurting you or your Yorkie.

| The pepper spray is a great idea, I'm going to pick some up on friday. There is no over reacting when it comes to my yorkie.
