| Awww thanks so much!!!! Being a "mutt" (yorkie/chi mix) I was so glad when I originally came here, that he was welcome! He is my sweet little baby boy! He is the greeter at the dog park of anyone knew coming in and he loves to play and snuggle. That's why I was so worried about him today - I think *I* need him way more than he needs me!! |

| Wow! I had heard we had a cold front coming, didn't know it was so close! We have all tile floors here too and I put the crates up on bathmats/throw rugs (I had some old cotton faded ones and they work great) Also keeps them from skidding and quieter when they run in and out! There was a great post last year about making little sweaters out of bright colored socks, So cute! |

| Oooh thanks ritapatt!! What a great idea with the bath mats!! I leave him with a blanket on the floor and 2 in his bed, but the blanket doesn't cover much ground. I will definitely add some mats! Thanks again! |

| Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | How cute! We are going to get a sweater for our new baby too. Right now we are just keeping the heat set at 65, but it has only kicked on a few times at night. When it gets down into the 20's and the teens up her in PA, I'm sure it will be chilly nilly. My husband had to work out in 8 degree weather one night right after we moved to PA. When it gets this cold, I think I'll put me and Katie Scarlett (and the hubby if he's home) in one room and use the electric heater and stay in the room. We have propane that fuels are furnace in our home. When it's really cold, it's just easier to use the plug in electric heater and stay in one place. I need to get pajamas too!

| I guess these things depend on your dogs coat and it's tolerance for cold. My little girl has no under coat and gets cold very easily. Our floors get cold very easily and of course she is very close to the floor. I don't feel comfortable leaving leaving clothing on her when I am not home. I'm afraid she will try to take off her clothing and get caught in it. I have pet steps and she sleeps on the bed. She always wants to sit on my lap to warm up. Keeping her off the cold floor is important to me. She likes to climb under her blanket, too. |

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | What adorable babies you have! I know here in North Central Florida it got pretty cool last night...the thermostat inside says 71 degrees right now. Tuffy is still in his jammies but Bella took her nightie off (maybe she got too warm? I dunno) Maybe they'd like a new bed?

| Yeah, Pixel has no undercoat either, so he tends to get cold easily. Luckily though, all was okay when I got home yesterday. He greeted me as he always does, but was a little shivery I have never put pajamas on him, but he sleeps in the bed with me and always cuddles up and I wrap my arms around him. He doesn't seem to get cold in bed with me.normarae63 - Were you "talking" to me?? I only have one (Pixel), so just making sure. If you saw my profile pics that is my big girl who passed away a couple of years ago. I am guessing you have beds for sale lol Where can I find them?? Pixel probably could use a new one |

| Pixel is precious!!! I agree, he will be fine. We don't turn on our heat for anything, lol. Between all of our allergies, it just making breathing miserable and I think our animals like it cooler better because they can snuggle up in their beds or blankets. I take cold over hot any day!! no worries, you're such a good mommy for thinking of your little man |
