| Help! Simon has another penis infection Okay, so Simon had gotten a penis infection back in Jan from humping stuff animals, so I removed them. Now he is humping his beds, and he has gotten another infection. I can't remove his beds can I? The vet said that the infection is happening because he is getting abrasions from humping too hard. My husband has recommended that I buy him a sex dog toy, and my best friend has recommended that I get him a whore. I don't like either idea. I hope some of you have suggestions. (I really hope I am not the only one with a horny dog) |

| Is your dog nuetered? I wouldn't know how else to solve it other than saying no on the behavior. Good luck |

Has he seen a vet for the infection? What did the vet recommend?

| Already fixed Simon is already fixed, has been since 5 months old, he is now 7 years old. He has a twin brother and I have never seen his lipstick. The vet gave me antibiotics to put on him, but gave no other advice. I was exercising him more before, so maybe I have to start doing that again. |

| Lol, oh my. I have to chuckle a little! Poor guy. Jackson has a few stuffed animals he loves too namely too gigantic teddy bears that he goes at it with, but it's not an every day occurrence, sometimes his 'lipstick' doesn't even come out.... it's not always a sexual thing... dogs hump out of boredom, overexcitement, arousal, etc. If you don't want him doing it anymore, you may have to just pick up the beds, or at least every time you see him doing it tell him no. Usually I would say it's not a big deal so long as they are not humping other dogs, people, etc, but this sounds like a big problem!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | OH My.... I'm stumped and that isn't very often !!LOL The ho thing sound very interesting but I agree would add to the problem. The blow up doggy cute but it would deflate after he started to nibble on it's ear "wink wink" I would suggest finding some way to distract him.. Yes take away the bed and once the humping stops reward him. Than put the bed back down. This will probably take a great deal of time.... If that dont work look in the yellow pages: HDA (Horny Dogs Anonymous) or call 1-800-ho 4 hire Sorry coundn't resist..... Good Luck !!

| In the thread title, the word infection did not show. For a second, I was thinking what a lucky little guy! Hope it goes away and you can direct his energy elsewhere. |
