She hates or is rather scared to death of my windshield wipers. She starts panting and freaking out when I have to use them if she is in the car with me. So I have to bring some of her food along in the car to try and distract her on a rainy day

Bailee hates the windshield wipers too. He barks when we turn them on. My vet suggested holding him and using them even when it isn't raining. She said to reassure him that everything is OK. We are still working on it. There are days when you just can't avoid the wipers.

This is an interesting topic.

Bailee is getting better, but he would bark when we cleaned windows. He didn't like paper towels.

He also gets upset at the sound of a salt or pepper shaker. Thank goodness we don't use salt or pepper.

So far Lola only has two fears we have noticed, one is my husbands Motorcycle Helmet, if he has it on or if its on the table she just barks and growls and hides behind our legs, so now we have to keep it in the closet, its too funny!

Her other fear is actually really strange, my husband was playing with her the other day and made a "puffing out" noise, its hard to explain but he just blew air out at her and she went berserk trying to get away from him and over to me! We have tried making all sorts of other strange noises but thats the only one she has had a reaction to and it happens every time!
