I had problems with hot spots on a Golden years ago. My vet tried several things but what worked best was something I got from Petco. It is called Hot Spot Spray with aloe vera & tee tree oil.....made by Vets Best. You can also order it from KVPET.com....it is not expensive & work great. I even use it on me for ant & mosquito bites. I am allergic & usually causes blisters...Not with this stuff & after about 10 min. no more itching. I have used this stuff for over 10 years now.

I am having a similar face issue with Mikki. She was one (so I was told) or three (estimate from the vet) when I got her and she has only been with me for a little while. When I try to comb her face or wash her face she goes nuts! I have slowly been adding the face routine into our brushing routine. I hold and talk sweetly and tell her its ok. As I try to comb the face. She is getting more used to it. But we still work on it daily. I also really praise her when I am finished. Give her a treat and let her know she is a very good girl.

That crate must be huge.

Please let her have her own crate.
I allow my 4 to each own, their own crate and what ever is in their crate. I believe that all creatures need a tiny space of their own. My dogs don't have high and mighty attitudes in extreme but, are Yorkie proud, they know I am the alpha. About fighting just watch and let the dogs know that is unacceptable, they will decide their own place in the pack. As the leader you do not have to allow them to fight.

Tomorrow's a big day. Fergie is going in for her dental surgery and microchipping (she needs a tooth pulled). Then the countdown starts to Friday afternoon for me to finally pick up. Gotta say, almost a month in the process I guess this shelter thoroughly vets their applicants for their pups.

I order mine through Amazon. I have not seen anyone locally carry it in my area.

Lots of people save the link to their favorites.

That way you can go directly to Amazon and YHR still gets credit.
