I had problems with hot spots on a Golden years ago. My vet tried several things but what worked best was something I got from Petco. It is called Hot Spot Spray with aloe vera & tee tree oil.....made by Vets Best. You can also order it from KVPET.com....it is not expensive & work great. I even use it on me for ant & mosquito bites. I am allergic & usually causes blisters...Not with this stuff & after about 10 min. no more itching. I have used this stuff for over 10 years now.
