I am having a similar face issue with Mikki. She was one (so I was told) or three (estimate from the vet) when I got her and she has only been with me for a little while. When I try to comb her face or wash her face she goes nuts! I have slowly been adding the face routine into our brushing routine. I hold and talk sweetly and tell her its ok. As I try to comb the face. She is getting more used to it. But we still work on it daily. I also really praise her when I am finished. Give her a treat and let her know she is a very good girl.
