| My opinion as a exhibitor/breeder is I love my girls but oh my boys. I would much rather take a boy in the ring than a girl. Boys are more willing to please and dependable. My girls are moody, one day she'll show like a dream, the next she'll look at me like I've lost my mind and refuse to show. I find my boys much easier to train than girls. On the average my boys are more loving. My girls are all daddy's girls, my boys are momma's boys.

I only have a girl Yorkie but would never trade her for anything. She is my girl. The only time she has ever chosen her daddy over me was around the time I started showing during pregnancy. From about 12-16 weeks she acted as if she didn't want to have anything to do with me. (I wondered if it was because of hormonal changes that happen when carrying a boy??) Anyway, I was heart broken and finally won her back. | |

| to YT! I am so glad you are keeping her. I think most folks tend to second guess themselves because we don't want to make mistakes. I have one of each too. They are both cuddly. My little boy slightly a bit more but I think that is only because my little girl came from a not great environment. But at night, both of them sit in my lap until time for bed and they both sleep right next to me. Love them both and wouldn't trade them for anything. Besides, probably won't be long before you start picking out a boys name anyway. Yep, its amazing how they multiply. Good luck to you and Buttercup!

| I've had girl terriers all my life, Gizmo is my first boy. He's not as independant as the girls were but both were loving and cuddly. The trade in thing makes me lift my eyebrow a bit, but whatever. May have just been my preception on it. Good luck with your baby.
