Also, when someone else mentioned that the brush doesn't scratch your baby's skin, they wern't exaggerating the least bit. I've scratched this brush down my own skin just to test it out (I think they even suggest this on the website) and it left no scratch marks on me at all, no matter how mush pressure I used. With those awful wire brushes you can't do this -- or, rather, you shouldn't do this (I know, I've tried) Only thing you might want to consider is that this is more of a 'detangling' brush than a 'finishing' brush, at least in my opinion. You still need a comb to run through at the end for that really straight shiny look. But I would do that regardless Anyways, I can't say enough about the CCWP! After I got it, Lucy actually learned to LIKE getting brushed. If for no other reason than that, buying it was the best decision I could have made! | Roni, I love the Madan too. You may find that it is a bit big while Ahi is so tiny, but once she grows up it will be great. The amazing thing about the Madan is that all 4 of my doggies enjoy being brushed because it is so gentle. They used to hate the other brushes that pull. Getting them used to daily brushing is a good thing when they are young.

| I have been having a hard time finding a brush that will work with my babies. The one I have now has the two sides - the metal bristles and the smoother side Max has finally let me brush him without crying murder - but he does not like it yet. He has started to let me use the smoother side of the brush if I catch him when he is tired - he is starting to think that is not too bad. Plus, since he is tired I am not sure he realizes it is not just my petting him. Abby, well, you would think I was pulling her toenails out every time I try to brush her. I talk to them the entire time and give them a little treat when they are done, but I am wondering if there is a better brush that they will like? My other yorkies have always liked being brushed. They are not matted and I can get the brush thru their coats, but I really wish they would relax and enjoy being brushed. Last edited by AbbyMax; 07-23-2011 at 05:24 AM. |

BUT... All that being said, I have never tried the Madan. I wonder if Heath would COMPLETELY freak if I bought a few more brushes and combs? Just to keep around the house | |
