I have the CC wooden pin brush and I love, Love, LOVE it!!! It cut's through her coat like a raindrop through water! Granted, she never really mats, even if I don't brush her, but she does get those little snarls at the tips of her coat, which, when I try to use a normal brush, breaks her tips. The CCWP brush just glides right through, and I come away with WAY less broken hair on the brush.
Also, when someone else mentioned that the brush doesn't scratch your baby's skin, they wern't exaggerating the least bit. I've scratched this brush down my own skin just to test it out (I think they even suggest this on the website) and it left no scratch marks on me at all, no matter how mush pressure I used. With those awful wire brushes you can't do this -- or, rather, you
shouldn't do this (I know, I've tried

)
Only thing you might want to consider is that this is more of a 'detangling' brush than a 'finishing' brush, at least in my opinion. You still need a comb to run through at the end for that really straight shiny look. But I would do that regardless
Anyways, I can't say enough about the CCWP! After I got it, Lucy actually learned to LIKE getting brushed. If for no other reason than that, buying it was the best decision I could have made!
