She did not see parents. Breeder met her at a truck stop. I see disaster written all over it, but I've been telling her to make sure she gets him vaccinated and vet checked and things to watch for and look for and to come here for great advice. I don't think she even got a written health guarantee. I wish she had told me she was getting a puppy before she got one and I could have at least pointed her in a better direction and told her what to look for and questions to ask. I think she knows it was a greeder, just wanting the money. And for what she paid, I doubt her pet is full anything. But she loves him and that's what's important.

Actually the only benefit I know of is for showing your dog. As I show both in the USA and Canada my dogs are registered in both registries. AKC and CKC ie Canadian Kennel Club. The microchip should I would think be readable by vets here in Canada and the USA. The rules for breeders registered with the CKC are a bit different than in the USA, in that all breeders MUST if selling a purebred pup, register the dog, and can NOT charge more for this process. In fact when you pick up a pup here from a CKC breeder, you should be prepared at the time to sign the registration paperwork. Then the breeder sends this in to the CKC and you the new owner, will receive your pups official registration number and paperwork from the CKC. I truly don't understand any reputable breeder of CH dogs not registering their litters, and NOT going ahead to register the pups with AKC.

| So showing and breeding with good lines. Obviously with reputable clubs and nit ACA or APRI. Thank you. I think the $$$$ was what the breeders wanted. Quote:
