| ![]() There are many people who own toy dogs, not just yorkies, that do not allow their dogs to touch the floor in a public place. Little dogs can pick things up on their feet that might not harm a larger dog and dogs lick their feet. If we have been out and Mina had to go potty in a strange place, the first thing I do when I get home is wash her feet. My toddler never went bare foot anywhere but their own yard, because toddlers play with their toes and put their fingers in their mouth. They were not allowed to play with anyones shoe either. I hope this helps explain why someone would not put their dog on the floor in a store. It is a safety precaution that some feel is important. On the other hand there are those that dont feel this way and that is ok too. |

| ![]() When my boys were teens, well one still is,as they left I would always say "love you, have a good time and keep it zipped". I used to hear this from a friends mom when I was a kid. To my girls and boys, Ive always told them that there are many things that you can get out there that are worse than a baby, like Aids,Hpv and a whole host of other STDs that will stay with you the rest of your life or kill you. Not a scare tactic just the truth. |
