I honestly dont inderstand why walmart (as well as other stores) will allow service animals into their stores but personal pets are not allowed. A dog is a dog is a dog-regardless of service or not. There's still food there if the service animal is there. And my 1.2 pound Yorkie is never going to touch the ground, the buggy or any shelves. That service animal will.

Now, don't misconstrue that to think i have anything against handicapped people and don't want their service animals allowed into stores-I get that they need them for many things. I just think some things are silly. My dog is 100 times cleaner than the rats and mice running around in those stores!!
Umm...I am actually training my yorkie to be a service dog...because I am deaf, I can't hear if i dropped my wallet, key, or someone calling for me, etc. Service dog is actually helpful for ones who have disability like blind, deaf, wheelchair, etc. It sound like you are overprotecting your dog, (no offense I hope?), because way you said your yorkie will never touch ground.
