Well, they were the dumb ones! I mean just look at Remy's little face! What trouble could she possibly cause. Lol.

| I have become a KB sneaking connoisseur over the past 2 years taking Couver places. We have been almost everywhere in our community, and have only been asked to leave once. I walked into Wal-Mart with him in his KB unzipped, and he had his head out. We were only running in quickly to the pet section and did not get stopped right away. When we were walking out, the guy asked me not to bring my dog in again. From then on, I just made sure his bag was zipped We have been everywhere, but we try to avoid taking them to places that have food. However, there have been times where we stop somewhere to eat... and we have the dogs. I refuse to leave them in the car, so they do go in when this happens. Most stores around here have been really friendly and just want to pet the dogs.

| YT Addict | Since Coco's not a Yorkie and not a small dog, I don't take her into places she's not allowed too. Although if she was small enough I would take her everywhere! We rarely leave her in cars because, well, I just hate it. If I have to run in somewhere to get one thing, and be inside for about 2 min, we usually blast the air or heat, depending on the weather for about 5 min. Run in (literally, I haul my butt in there ) and when we come back it's usually a very comfortable temp inside. I just feel SO bad even leaving her for 2 min. I wish she was small enough to fit into bags :/

| Rosie is so cute, but she, along with other posters, are encouraging me to be naughty! We took Princess to Meijers the day we got her since we had a portable dog we HAD to try it. We took her to the pet section & weighed her in the bulk food scale! I've seen a lady come in with her Chi right in the front basket 100% visible so I guess they don't enforce it? But I'm still scared to try again.

Oh no! Ha ha! We will have you sneaking Princess in all the time. ![]() You can always call the places and see what their policy is regarding pets. I have done that before. Some places are pet friendly. Others are just hateful about it. Lol. I take Rosie to the mall in KB a lot. I keep her in there because I know they don't allow dogs in. Luckily, I haven't got caught yet! The joy of a kB is that it looks just like a purse.

The only place we have ever not been welcomed was Target, and that exp was jarring - young lady screamed repeatedly at us; manager came and apologized but we were already pretty shaken by the scene she made.

It is nice when they are welcoming. I am finding out more and more. I guess they are more open to the smaller dogs that can be carried. And I understand that too. I have heard numerous stories about Target. Don't think I will try there. Don't want to have to be bailed out of jail!
