| ![]() when i first saw my youngest yorkie on petfinder as a 4 month old puppy, the shelter offering her adoption was calling her by the name of dixie. my boyfriend and i decided that we would chose our own name for her if we were the ones lucky enough to get to adopt her. as the discussion went on, i just through it out there that she looks like a pixie with her tiny size and large ears. the whole time we were waiting waiting on a list to adopt her, almost 2 weeks, we referred to her as pixie every time we talked about her. the name just stuck and it fits her very well.

| ![]() Took us 3 or 4 days to name Kizzie too.. She came to us with the "name" Katie, which is cute but we know a lot of humans with that name.. My daughter really wanted to name her Kinsay, but again we know a few Humans with that name.. after calling her all kinds of names over a few days we found that if you make kissy noises she gets so happy and comes running vibrating with excitement.. I didn't want to name her kissy so we called her Kizzie cause it's close to kissy yet different, and it totally fit! Nicknames in our house, Dizzy Kizzie, Kizzie kins, kizzie wizzy.. lol.. |
