| Tibbe would hate being confined for that long in a dark place. He just hates confinement more than anything. He would start scratching, growling or barking and letting his mommie know he didn't not appreciate it!!!

Me too! The movie part...not the fear part, though. ZoE does great. I sit her on my lap & she snuggles in her blankie & sleeps. She only ever yipped on time during a movie. It was during the movie I Am Number Four, when the dog barked...and she felt the need to answer back

![]() He is used to be confined though, he was crate trained as a pup and needs to be good in his carrier since he travels frequently with me which can mean up to 10 hours in the bag between the drive to/ time at the airport and then the actual flight. On the flights he is always fine- but if he did bark or something it would be okay since he is allowed to be there.

| I worked up the nerve last night to take Heidi to a movie with me for the first time. She did great! I was so proud of her. Not even a peep. Just sat on my lap & snoozed or look around. when it was over I picked up her purse carrier (which she has hardly even been in except for in the house practicing.) As soon as I unzipped it she jumped in. My friends got a chuckle out of it.

Ooooh, I'm so there whatever they sell, I'm buying something Just a couple of weeks ago we went to a leather store in Monroe. We weren't planning on spending much, in fact we were talking about tightening our budgets in general because of times being hard. We were so happy with the welcoming Nicky and Nini got from everyone at the store, that hb told me to buy myself something nice as a mother's day gift and hb's brother told his wife the same. So we splurged ![]() ![]() We spent about $600 (combined) two pairs of boots, belts and cowboy hats. This past weekend we went back for the boys turn to splurge. I don't know what it is, but it does makes us want to spend some money when our babies are treated nicely ![]() I studied marketing and I'm a sales person, I know what tactics are being used to get me to open the purse strings, yet I don't care, in fact, I encourage them to keep it up by opening my wallet From a customer's point of view, I think it's sweet. From a sales person/marketer point of view----it's just good business

| I think most likely Heidi would've been alright with a dog barking in the movie. My biggest concern was a doorbell. If there had been a doorbell, goodness knows most likely she would have the need to give it a good talking to.

| Thor's Human Donating Member | I just thought of something. I actually do NOT take Thor to restaurants with dog friendly patios, because Thor goes bananas when I'm eating something and other people/dogs walk by. He's normally very friendly with people, but I really think he believes everyone going by is planning to steal "our" food. So I'm saying, I am allowed to take him in certain areas, but I don't, because my standard is generally, will this bother other people, or bother my dog. I really think that a small, non-shedding dog in an enclosed bag is not going to cause an allergy attack or cause a restaurant to get fined - I think these are extreme arguments, like saying that if you jaywalk, you could cause a horrible car accident. It's not like I'm a career criminal, but I break rules from time to time. I do think there is a clear difference between a dog you can carry in a bag and a large one - just like, no shoes, no shirt, no service. I think it would be reasonable to change the rules that if your dog is in a bag, it's allowed. Your dog really can't be a sanitation risk at that point. I can respect that other people disagree. BTW, there's an easy way to avoid being bothered by kids on planes: EAR PLUGS! I never fly without 'em.

| This is also how I avoid being bothered by kids NOISE- but I still need a plan for the child sitting next to you and continually dancing around on the seat and kicking you- kicking back was the only plan i could come up with in my head but never executed it to see whether it would work or not.

| Thor's Human Donating Member | Yeah, that doesn't solve kicking. Um.... ALWAYS FLY FIRST CLASS! That way, the seats are far apart, and kids' legs will be too short to connect with your seat. Problem solved. Next!

| Thor's Human Donating Member | Alternatively: ALWAYS CHOOSE THE REAR-MOST ROW IN THE PLANE! Yes, you will be sitting next to the bathroom and it will smell disgusting, but no one can sit behind you. There, problem double-dog solved!
