he wasn't confined- he was sitting on my lap!
He is used to be confined though, he was crate trained as a pup and needs to be good in his carrier since he travels frequently with me which can mean up to 10 hours in the bag between the drive to/ time at the airport and then the actual flight. On the flights he is always fine- but if he did bark or something it would be okay since he is allowed to be there.
