Pooter takes his food from his bowl in mouthfuls and eats it in his kennel, he also tries sneaking Tikka's food once his Acana is all gone, as she is on a mix of Acana/Science Diet since she's switching. He will pick out all the science diet pieces from her bowl! And the whole time he never takes his eyes off me... I usually tell him "That's not your food!" and he immediately knows to get out of her food lol.

Pooter also does the similar thing that Mer's pup does for attention... Pooter will come and sit on the floor next to my chair and give little gruff barks, then if I ignore that he stands up and cocks his head sideways and does this dance that looks like he's saying "hey let's go, yeah this way! come with me!" I'll have to video it sometime!

Tikka can NOT go to bed without giving my husband a faceful of kisses. She sleeps in our bed and I will say "No kisses Tikka" and she will sulk and whimper, then once she's quiet my husband will say "Ok Tikka, come give kisses goodnight!" And she practically attacks him. She does NOT do this for me lol... kind of makes me jealous lol. I want her to kiss me goodnight! At the same time I love seeing the connection there as my husband wasn't a dog person before we got her She won't go to bed with out kissing him, she will whine until we let her.

Before Buster leaves the house to go anywhere, for a walk or in the car, he has to eat every kibble in his bowl. Just mention going somewhere and he immediately goes to his bowl. My Daisy has a different take on food. She refuses to eat until we are all together (eventually she figures out that I'm not coming home if on business travel, and gets over it, but this is the usual pattern). Since I almost always get home an hour or two after the GF, she will run like mad to say hello to me by jumping up on her hind legs like a Jack Russel, and nipping at my fingers. This is her way of shaking hands, I am told .

Then after the meet and greet, its straight to the food bowl to eat all the kibble there is to eat.

Mr Gatsby has trained himself to also do the jump up on hind legs thing, but ONLY to tell me that he has used the pee pad and that I need to come see it to reward him... Yes, he has sometimes tried this with no fresh pee, thinking I'd treat him anyway, but he must know we humans are smarter than that .
