| List your yorkie's idiosyncrasies Every one of our beloved babies have em so I thought this would be a fun discussion. So here goes the ones for my Max: Leaves one or two of the smallest kibble in his bowl after eating the rest, almost every time. Peeks into the shower while I am in there, hoping it's his chance to get bathed. Raises his upper lip so that he can show me his top teeth, effectively smiling when excited to see me. Only uses his bed to work on his chew bone and sometimes enjoy his treats I give him. Loves to be chased by other dogs in the park and by me in the house. |

| If I am at the sink or the stove doing something, Sammy will stand next to me and put his two front paws on my foot. It's so cute. If he wants something to eat he barks at me and I ask him what are you barking at and he goes to his dish and puts a paw in the dish. These yorkies are just so smart and lovable. |

| Gypsy is crazy with her food: Gypsy will try to cover her food with anything she finds on the floor. She has covered it with a sock, the dog bed beside the food, and we have even seen her tear a piece of paper so it will fit in the dish. She will also act like she is taking a piece of food out of her dish, lay it down beside the dish and then go back for another. I say act because 99% of the time she does not really pick anything up. Right now she is pushing it all up into the container. She and the others have dry food out at all times and it has a canister on top of the bowl filled with food. She will push it till only a few pieces are showing in the bowl. It lasts till the others get tired of it and digs it back down. My dtr says Gypsy is neurotic.

| Whenever my MIL comes to visit (same house, dif rooms) Peek a Boo gets under her nightgown and sticks his head out inbetween her feet. Then, of course, we all make over him... Oh there's Peek a Boo! What are you doing under there? Then we laugh. Never had a dog so appropriately named..

| When Sophie Kate hears someone getting ice she comes flying into the kitchen in hopes for one of her favorite treats--Ice Cubes. She shares her Nyla bone with by dropping it on my face Sophie Kate dislikes yard ornaments and jack o' lanterns and will attempt to fight everyone she see's.

| Tibbe is the only dog I have ever had that loves to sleep "cheek-to-cheek", cuddling with his face against mine and falling asleep that way. Also, he is the only dog I have ever had that somehow he has learned to "smile" when he is happy, which is most of the time, and can somehow position his lips into an upturned position at appropriate times, such as when I come home, say the word "treat" or give him a new present.

| When the Mr Frosty ice cream truck comes down the street they cry and bark untill we get them an ice cream. The cat knows the music he plays too and waits for her ice cream. It is funny because we have several ice cream trucks that come down the street and they only do it for Mr Frosty. Its soft serve ice cream and thats what they love. It tickles the ice cream man and alot of times he gives us our dog cup for free. They both bark at me when I sing and dance. I dont know if it annoys them or excites them. Chachi just loves to run through the stream in the back of our house and get totally soaked but he is the biggest baby when it comes to getting a bath. Jewels will totally act like she cant jump on our chairs outside because shes lazy and wants you to pick her up. She gets really annoyed if we dont pick her up and makes these little noises. In the morning when they get their canned food for breakfast we will set a plate out for each of them they will eat a couple bites then they will switch plates like the other one has better food than them it is so funn,y and they do it every morning. When my groomer grooms Jewels she has her Husband hold chachi when she can see him or she will bark and be all excited Thats what I can think of but I know theres a million more that arent coming to mind right now

| Before Buster leaves the house to go anywhere, for a walk or in the car, he has to eat every kibble in his bowl. Just mention going somewhere and he immediately goes to his bowl. When i try to put his harness on him he runs back to his bowl to eat more. If his bowl doesnt have kibble he will eat Maggie's. When they have flossies, they will chew their own for a few minutes then look at each other, almost on que, then switch. They wil switch back and forth until they are through. When we are out and I have bottled water, Maggie won't drink after Buster. If she doesn't drink first, she won't drink at all.

When it's dinner time, one of us will look at her and ask, "What time is it?" and she will jump up and run right to the kitchen. First she goes to her bowl, then she'll go over to the cabinet where the food is, and then go back to her bowl. Ya know, just in case I forgot how this whole dinner thing goes. When I come home, not only does she greet me at the door, but she jumps up to give me kisses! I love it!

| Sarge likes to run hide under the sofa, if I don't come look for him right away, he scatches on the floor untill I say where is Sarge and go look for him, then he waits for me to get down on the floor and look for him under there, then he comes out , I sit down and he does it again.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Cute thread ! *Wylie likes to come to bed w/ 2 of my socks; he gets the socks, then paces in the same line every time, then comes up on the bed and taps the socks into place w/ his nose, then cuddles with them. *Marcel does not like people on TV who have white-gray hair. Another cute thing is, when we give them bones/chews, Marcel has to pace with his bone for hours...back and forth on the sofa. He also likes to bring the bone up to you and touch your nose. *Pfeiffer does *not* like things out of place; often, if we set something in the hallway or whatevs - she goes bonkers when she sees it - just barkbarkbark. On the same note, she does not like new signs (like a security sign) in people's yards...she'll slink to the ground, bark, retreat/advance/retreat/advance until we pass the yard.

| I'm enjoying everyones stories....lol. Jake ALWAYS takes a chew toy to bed with him. (guess he doesn't want the other dogs having them. lol) He had gotten where he knows when I'm leaving for work and he goes and hides. Not sure why...he has the run of the house. (I think he is pining for me. ha ha) When he wants something he comes and sits in front of me and does these little bitty barks. (yea he's trained me well.) |
