OP...Don't ask for anything just RUN and down look back!! Don't you wanna see where and how your baby was raised?, meet the breeder and its Mom and Dad? I know if I was looking for a pup and spending that much money...I would, I would want to make sure I'm getting a happy healthy pup that will be a part of my family for many years to come.

| Please take your time and reconsider. Buying from a breeder you know you can rely on is worth everything. He has already proved he doesn't stand by his word. I would run don't walk. This man is a fraud. There is no tellin' where those poor little babies are from. I know its heartbreaking but its even more to get them home and loose them from kind of sickness, whatever. Just be careful. |

| Talked to him today, the pups now won't be here until next weds. he says he will knock off more money on the price for the puppy because of the big wait. ... the price here in mexico is alot more different then the price up there in the states which suits my budget as much as it will while i am living down here. i support my local shelters but i'd rather get a purebred. everyone says run run don't look back, but someone will eventually take these dogs if not me, someone else will, and who knows if they will take good care of them as i know i would. I know that if it comes down to 1 of them getting sick, which can happen with any dog doesn't matter where it comes from, atleast i know i will keep it as healthy as i can with the help a great vet in my area. |

Guess I can't help then, because that would be my ONLY advice at this point. Price does not matter if the breeder is not right. ---Select your BREEDER FIRST then your Puppy!--- So many things you need to know before price! Who IS the actual breeder of the pup? What kennel is the pup coming from, what parents? What registry is used? What do you know about the history of the pup? The health history of parents, grand & great grandparents as well as other litters? What about standards? Do the parents, grandparents & greats meet Yorkshire Terrier Standard? Any joint problems like LP? Liver problems (like shunts) in any of the offspring? What are their bites like? Temperments? Are they coming from a puppy mill? I could go on and on but I know you don't want that. Take the price & divide it by 16 years or so. A little shaved here or there will not be a big deal over the lifetime of your new family member. The WRONG breeder though, will make a HUGE deal no matter if he gives you a BARGAIN price.

I think the number one reason for everyone saying run, don't give this guy your money, is because if your dog has health issues, or behavior issues, he won't be there to help you like a breeder should. It's more than what guarantee they can offer you, but what they do to help their pups and their families when things go wrong. It shouldn't matter if things go wrong one week, one month, one year, or even three years after you purchased a pup. It's really in your best interest.
