Actually, that's not the point. I'm glad you will be able to give this pup or any pup a wonderful, warm, and loving life and home. That is not the issue. The issue will be that by giving this gentlemen your hard earned money, you are telling him his breeding practices are acceptable, which it sounds like they're questionable at best. If everyone would just refrain from condoning such practices, those greedy breeders wouldn't exist anymore.
I think the number one reason for everyone saying run, don't give this guy your money, is because if your dog has health issues, or behavior issues, he won't be there to help you like a breeder should. It's more than what guarantee they can offer you, but what they do to help their pups and their families when things go wrong. It shouldn't matter if things go wrong one week, one month, one year, or even three years after you purchased a pup. It's really in your best interest.
