Guess I can't help then, because that would be my ONLY advice at this point. Price does not matter if the breeder is not right.

So many things you need to know before price! Who IS the actual breeder of the pup? What kennel is the pup coming from, what parents? What registry is used? What do you know about the history of the pup? The health history of parents, grand & great grandparents as well as other litters? What about standards? Do the parents, grandparents & greats meet Yorkshire Terrier Standard? Any joint problems like LP? Liver problems (like shunts) in any of the offspring? What are their bites like? Temperments? Are they coming from a puppy mill? I could go on and on but I know you don't want that. Take the price & divide it by 16 years or so. A little shaved here or there will not be a big deal over the lifetime of your new family member. The WRONG breeder though, will make a HUGE deal no matter if he gives you a BARGAIN price.
