| If she is breeding that many breeds then she should have "facilities" and she should have let you see them. She should have volunteered to show you. She also should have had at least a pic of the dad along with contact info to his registered owners. Now it is true that some breeders welp their litters around house in an old fashioned way for the moms comfort and that is fine but its a tell-tale sign of a puppy miller with a bunch of dirty crates stacked up in a barn somewhere. |

| Jim and Diane - puppy mil breeders We purchased a miniature schnauzer puppy from Diane in the Spring and had to return it the next day. When we first saw the puppy at seven weeks in her kitchen it was cute but lethargic. The day we picked up the puppy to take it home it was very calm and quiet on the ride home. After a few hours in our home the puppy became very aggressive and started attacking our children. It would run circles in our back yard and bite anything that came close to it. We are convinced the puppy was drugged when we first saw it and the day we picked her up. The behavior of the dog changed dramatically over the few hours we first brought her home. There is no doubt in our mind that this dog was on some kind of drowsy medication when we picked her up. I returned the puppy the next day and Diane refused to give our money back. In order for her to take the puppy back she charged us an additional $200 on top of the $600 we paid initially. We had no choice but to pay the money and return the puppy. She went ahead and sold the puppy to another family. I would caution anyone from buying a dog from this breeder. They are bred out doors and are basically wild. |

Does your paperwork state she will charge extra to take the pup back? Does it mention returning the pup at all?

| diane and jim frenchtown nj puppy mill breeders Diane and Jim in Frenchtown NJ have a system where they offer a low price for Miniature Schnauzer puppies. They post pictures of the puppies and want a $300 deposit ( non refundable ) from you before you see the puppy. You pay the balance when you pick up the puppy. When you arrive on their property you can see the kennel they have set up for the dogs outside and away from the house. They do not allow you to approach the kennel. We visited Diane three times and tried to ignore the eery site of the set up with the small wooden kennel barn outside their house and wondered why each time we visited we never saw or heard any of these dogs outside of the kennels. We had visited on warm weather days and it never occurred to us that the dogs were never let outside. Frankly, it's like a prison camp for the dogs that they are breeding. Diane will have your puppy ready for you to see in her kitchen in a metal crate. If you inquire on the parents of the puppy she will tell you she has been doing this for a number of years and is very careful when breeding her many Schnauzer female and male dogs. If you follow her listing on breeders.net you will see that she seems to have new puppies every other month, very much like a factory. I would caution anyone from buying from this breeder. We had a very bad experience with the puppy we adopted from her and not only did she not refund our $600 payment, she also charged us an additional $200 and wanted all the paper work back to return the puppy. If she was a reputable breeder she would have taken the puppy back ( after 1 day ) and given us our money back. It appears as though Diane and Jim have changed their address a few times, my guess is that people are catching on their puppy mill scheme. If you happen to go there to adopt, please pause and look at the kennel on their property and think about the dogs that are in there before you adopt. |

| Diane Laudenbach Rocky Hill's Brown Hi, I am new to this site. I found it by googling Diane Laudenbach's name. My Yorkie Cloey passed in July after 17 years of lovable and loyal companionship. I inquired to several breeders on the AKC website and am in contact with Lillian Jennings. I have the pedigree from her. She owns both Yorkies and has puppies. The breeder Lillian got her Yorkies from Rocky Hill's Bronx (after reading some of the posts she has changed the name). Now I am concerned after reading some of the posts about Diane. Some of you say your Yorkie is fine and others say she is not a good breeder. I don't have a lot of experience with breeders. My Cloey came from a newspaper ad and the lady had the puppies in her house. She was awesome. Cloey was very healthy with only regular vet check ups and a few issues as she got older. I was very lucky to have her in my life. I am confused. Should I take one of the puppies????? Now I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?????? YT 500 Club Member | Buying puppies from her only encourages her to continue to profit from her awful practice. Do not do it. Someone needs to report her. Seriously. Those poor animals.
