| Finally! Finally! The search is over, I found a food that Gizmo enjyos and that I don't feel guilty feeding him. We've been doing some trials ever since we got him. He was on Royal Canin but seemed to turn is little cute nose up to it when he came home. So, I tried Wellness which led to poop problems and he didn't like it. Wee Bit small bites- which he barely touched unless I added some cheese. Orijen - which he ate a little of, but it also caused poop problems (too high in protein). Finally, I talked to this local little pet store, and I put him on Avoderm small breed, and added a little bit of their canned chicken stew with it. I think Gizmo thought his ship had come in. He literally licked the bowl clean. So, just thought I post this for those that are having a little picky eater problems and are saving homemade food as a last resort. Also, there aren't any pooping problems with Avoderm like there was with any of the previous foods. p.s. the avocado in the food makes his coat beautiful.

| Glad to hear you found something Gizmo likes. I had Riley on Orijen and it was a little too rich for him. I switched him to Acana at night and feed him Primal or Nature's Variety raw in the mornings. He will be 1-year old, next month. It took me a few months to find something that really works for him. |

| I am in the same boat as you!Although,I have not found anything Max likes yet!Maybe I'll give the Avoderm a try.Just curious though, you said you mixed some chicken stew with it,did you do that with the other foods,or did the Avoderm get an unfair advantage?I was actually thinking of going back to the Acana,he seemed to like that the best so far, but,he got bored with it after about a week...aargh!I gave him a sample of Blue Buffalo, and, surprisingly,he wouldn't even take one bite!Glad you found a food he likes!

Blue Buffalo had a high protein content just like Orijen which led to him pooping way too much. Good luck to yha!
