I am in the same boat as you!Although,I have not found anything Max likes yet!Maybe I'll give the Avoderm a try.Just curious though,you said you mixed some chicken stew with it,did you do that with the other foods,or did the Avoderm get an unfair advantage?
I was actually thinking of going back to the Acana,he seemed to like that the best so far,but,he got bored with it after about a week...aargh!I gave him a sample of Blue Buffalo,and,surprisingly,he wouldn't even take one bite!Glad you found a food he likes!
