I have been in contact with both BettyAnne and Vicki, rest assured the "big" behavioural problem that the owner told both Betty and Vicki, was that this pup, who she had for three weeks was eating poop. Too bad, tun tun, there are numerous threads on here, that could have given you tons of different solutions for this very common problem. And btw not only in toy breeds, all breeds of dogs, can get enamoured at one time or another with their or others poop. |

Very true about some dogs tending to be interested in poop eating. My son's American Bulldog had a very short bout with that but son trained him out of it as well as he grew and just lost interest. There are many ways to handle that problem other than selling your baby, if that is the issue. |
Also I posted an update on the for sale and wanted thread. Vicki has been in contact with tuntun, and Vicki will be picking up the puppy this evening. Once this transaction is safely completed, I will update the list. I thank everyone for their concern and help. To tuntun you are doing the responsible thing, in returning this puppy to her breeder(s) who care very deeply for her. |
Its private information that I should decide whether to post or not. When you give out your information to someone you trust them with it and you definitely trust that they will not go posting it on the Internet. Everyone sane knows this.
I find it ironic that you would be making a statement in regards to breech of trust. All of the responsible breeders, the show breeders and especially one with Durrer lines would have a contract for the return of their puppies if there are issues. When they gave you the Puppy they trusted you with it and for you to honor that contract, what about your actions and breech of trust. If giving back the puppy was no big loss why did you not return it in the first place. I also find it ironic that you would consider that you are providing a better environment than the Yorkie breeder since you can not handle the issues of this Yorkie and must separate it. Perhaps you should have considered the size difference the two dogs before deciding on a Yorkie. I see nowhere that the breeder Vickilynn or Betty Anne Durrer posted your name. Yes a YT member Abbie506 posted your full name after objecting to what she felt was an breech on contract and that has been removed by the moderators. So all that is left to do is for you to return Roxy and get your refund to have this matter resolved. I see the matter is being resolved and I thank you for returning the dog to the breeder. Perhaps German Shepards are best for you, they are also a lovely dog. |

Geez, big loss to that lady because once yorkies are trained, their love and loyalty is priceless. You get what you put into it. She obviously didn't want to train the dog. Quote:

And we are doing everything responsibly and have been in contact with the breeder the whole time. This is nonsense. The dog was never in any danger either. If you read the thread: We were originally offered the money back then the breeder changed their mind last minute and said they have to find a buyer first. So we tried to help them find a buyer. THAT IS ALL. Relax. No crime has been committed and the dog is SAFE and being taken back by the breeder TONIGHT. Take it easy please... you guys are making a big deal out of absolutely nothing. We are sure its a great dog and it can make a great pet for someone else and I have no hard feelings towards the breeders, they SHOULD care this much about their dogs. BUT... the problem is with the false accusations and name calling going on here by people that don't know even half the story. Its quite ridiculous. I'm glad some people are more mature here... but some... should get a life.. |
Apologies to anyone that is being constructive through all of this. Roxy will of course be fine... this thread is getting old. |

I'm not reading this entire post it's upsetting me from page 2 too much...but that's the kind of thing you'd ant to see a reputable breeder have in a contract...it seems to me a last resort insurance policy that they "buyer" (I refer to think adopter) means what they say to the breeder... TUNtun and everyone else: As far as using someone's real full name in a public forum...there's nothing illegal about it...show me what law you think you are talking about...I hope the buyers legal full names gets spread everywhere over this and they never a get another pup from anyone again...re-homing after three weeks...there are reasons people need to return a pup-whatever-stuff happens-but this all seems well ridiculous too me. Furthermore: As long as everyone speaks the truth there's not slander and there is also laws regarding and protecting the freedom of information...however it is advised nothing be done that could cause harm to someone, like giving out their address or phone number, place of work etc. Their full legal name is not protected but I imagine YT will do a lil CYA just in case and keep it fro being posted. I'm sorry I'm also throwing my opinion out there some more...I hope the breeder better screens buyers despite her financial insurance policy in her contract and spends time expressing Yorkie specific issue (I've no idea the breed just reading it all here). BTW poop eating is only a psychological 'disorder' in older dogs...quite common actually...pups do it quite often...it's call training. Should they buyer ever get another pup I'd hope they'd try that...training. Quote:
