| ![]() Thank goodness you found her quickly. I'm constantly checking my fence and gates. My new gardener has left my side gates open 3 times, and I told him if it happens again he will be my EX-gardener. But Friday morning the tsunami ripped part of my fence and gate off into the ocean, so I can't let the dogs out until I get it replaced.

| ![]() We just had the neighbor replace two sections their agressive dog broke before they moved...and they failed to replace the third section...so thank you for the reminder...luckily the new neighbors have a friendly but yappy lil dog there. We have a temporary plywood board nailed to it as we couldn't pour cement for the post in the rain season with the ground saying so moist. really this reminder came at a great time...even though I do the potty pick up check after the kids dog poop patrol weekly I have the fence repair on the "long list" and needed a reason o get it on the to do now one.

| ![]() Stinking tsunami! ![]() ![]() We missed it in my immediate area, well besides at the beaches but it thrashed coastal houses, and the small harbor a bit north... ![]() Don't forget to check the soil depth and stability before refencing...as I'm sure you know ![]() ![]() Quote:

| ![]() I have a problem with my little guy digging under the fence, so I can't leave him alone in the yard for very long, he's only 5 lbs so it really don't take much of a hole for him to escape. ![]() Would getting him neutered make him want to get out and wander less? |

| ![]() Might help especially if he's smelling a female in heat look into fence barriers for dogs that dIg too. but supervision of such a small dog at all times outdoors seems best to me.

| ![]() the only place winston is allowed alone is our screened in porch. We have 2 acres but no fence. We had the fence taken down a few years ago but even with it Winston is so small he could have gotten out. My big worry here in KY. is hawks. I was getting ready to take the little guy out for one of our walks and my husband came in and said, "I wouldn't do that right now, there are not one but 2 pairs of hawks flying around above our house." Well that ended that, we waited until later when they were gone. I have lost many red birds because of these hawks. They are everywhere in KY. ![]() |

| ![]() This is such a good reminder...especially this time of the year. We are sunny and in the mid 70s here in south Georgia and Lucy has been in our fenced in yard about 5 times already this morning to sniff, carry sticks around, bask in the sun, etc. But I'm like Donna...with all the talk of hawks and our own sighting of hunting hawks in our neighborhood, Lucy isn't allowed out alone. We will be checking our fence row, for sure. I'm so glad Callie is ok. Jeannie |
