the only place winston is allowed alone is our screened in porch. We have 2 acres but no fence. We had the fence taken down a few years ago but even with it Winston is so small he could have gotten out. My big worry here in KY. is hawks. I was getting ready to take the little guy out for one of our walks and my husband came in and said, "I wouldn't do that right now, there are not one but 2 pairs of hawks flying around above our house." Well that ended that, we waited until later when they were gone. I have lost many red birds because of these hawks. They are everywhere in KY.
