| ![]() Mine can't have any chews really- they are all either not good for dogs (rawhides, greenies, etc), too much protein for my little MVD dogs (bully sticks, etc), or too hard that I worry they will break their teeth- after it happens and it spend $1000 fixing it, you get beyond paranoid. The best thing for mine are the KONGS- they can be filled with anything and are safe and healthy!

| ![]() Tibby loves his Kong. He has one that is really hard to get kibble in or out of but once I've pokled in in there piece at a time, he will play hard with it and race around bopping it into the air to jar out a piece of kibble until it is empty. It takes him almost 20 minutes to eat his dinner this way but he loves it. |

| ![]() Max did well with his Kong for the first time last night. It took him about 20 minutes, and I really crammed his treats in there tight, so it wasn't going to be easy. He hasn't learned to flip it in the air the first time around. I am sure he will figure it out. I got the extreme kong, since he likes to tear things up. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Joey loves Bully Sticks, and he taught me that he likes them better if I soften an end in hot water. I did it once, because the end dried extra hard and prickly, and now he throws the stick at me until I give in. He gets nightly chewing time with a stick, and they last about a week. We throw them out when they become a choking hazard.

YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() chester loves the zukes z ridge bones, but they are pricey and your dog has to be at least 6 lbs I think for the mini version. I give them evert 2 or 3 days, the gal at the pet store says he chews them to fast to be be given every day |

| ![]() At our house it is: himilayan dog chews...porkhide bones (safer than rawhide and low in fat for my schnauzer), deer antlers...every now and again, a Zukes dental ridge bone. Another chew/toy that I saw in the store was called the "puppy pinata"...and it was basically a stuffed toy with a pocket that a treat would fit into. I've done the same thing with one of our squeaker toys with the velcro pocket...took the squeaker out and put a treat inside, then loosely/semi closed it...Charlee must of chewed on that thing for hours ![]() |

| ![]() anyone ever get scared that they will choke on these rawhide sticks? I got some Dentleys Rawhide Sticks, and i'm scared he will try and swallow it or something, since only a little bit more than 2 inches is what doesn't fit in his mouth. That and he didn't want me to take it away from him, he back away whenever i went to snatch it back from him. didnt growl just tryed to run away with it. i might have to find something else, He like the Kong though, and doesn't mind when i grab it from him, also he has been going at it for 30 minutes now since i got it for him. |

| ![]() I took the small piece of the Himalayan Chew Bone that was left and threw it away when I thought it was a possible choking incident waiting to happen. It still took him a week just to get to that point. He seemed less interested in it once it got that small. |

| ![]() Just bought 20 of the medium ones for 5 bucks each and only 4 bucks total to ship from a vendor on amazon.com. Great price as they are usually between 7 and 9 bucks. The large was a bit too big (had to literally hacksaw them in half) and the smalls are a little too easy for him to get through, so the medium will be perfect. Max is a high grade chewer and 15 lbs. | ![]() I've always given my dogs the very natural and primal bone from the butcher called beef femur bones. (take the marrow out first) they are very cheap and last forever. ![]()
