The important thing is she snuggles with the other dogs already, & they share the doggie beds with her. She does need to hog my lap, but doesn't even lift her head when the other dogs come up too. Her & my Yogi are great buds already, & Buttons even allows herself to "tolerate" her. There are still little arguments, but nothing even remotely serious this last week. Most of the arguments are Yogi's fault....NO ONE can touch his loofurs....lol. She has come a long way in just a few weeks. She thoroughly adores me, & has won a place in my heart as well. Here is a pic of her watching my son leave....she hates anyone to leave the house. This pic isn't bad, you should see the face on the other side....will break your heart!

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Jillian has gained weight & aside from her wanting to bite the neighbors...lol, she is doing fine. I went back to the spca who gave me a behaviorists card to call, & some sites online to read. As of last week, she bit my friend from work, my neighbor, the vet, & the groomer. I figured out that I was her property in her mind, & have been making her "work" for everything since. My son was actually able to bring his girlfriend over a couple nights ago & she didn't bite her. I was lettin her stay outside longer than the other dogs if she didn't want to come in, letting her jump on my lap at will, & she developed an "owner possessiveness" thing with me. The poor SPCA folks who loved & played with her when they had her, were unable to come near me at all! Now she has to wait for my permission to jump up, & HAS to come in with the other dogs when I call them. I didn't think she knew how to sit when I first got her, but have come to realize that she probably did, she just didn't think I had the "right" to ask this of her. Now she has to sit before I allow her to do anything first. Now mind you she always listened to my son....but not to me at first. I'm thinking her last "owner" was a man, who very well might have had a wife in the household who's status was below Jillian's. Or who Jillian bossed around & didn't listen to, if you will. She has come a long way this month. She loves her brother & sisters, I just worry she plays a little rough sometimes, especially when they are playing outside & they all get excited, I have to watch her like a hawk. She outweighs them by 7lbs, & 10 lbs depending on the dog. Also little Button's is in week two of crate rest. I'm not sure how she may have injured her spine, but am pretty sure it was the neighbor's party guests/stick episode, but am keeping in mind it could have been a scuffle between her & Jillian. That is under a different thread called Spinal Injury in the sick/injured area. I still worry every day, but there is absolutely no growling, or arguing between the dogs...unless of course Jillian grabs Yogi's "Ankie", & a tug of war ensues, then there is some growling....lol. I think she's looking pretty good....took this pic earlier today of Jillian & Buttons.
