I'm loving hearing these stories! That they are snuggling so soon is awesome! Keep us updated! Sweet Jillian has some cyber friends that are pulling for her!
Again....God bless you for opening your heart and home to her!

I also freaked a little after she bit a visitor yesterday, but as I said before, I think it was because she came to me too quickly in too short a time. Others have been here & weren't bitten. Also, I will recognize the strange bark she gives now before she snaps or bites.
The important thing is she snuggles with the other dogs already, & they share the doggie beds with her. She does need to hog my lap, but doesn't even lift her head when the other dogs come up too. Her & my Yogi are great buds already, & Buttons even allows herself to "tolerate" her. There are still little arguments, but nothing even remotely serious this last week. Most of the arguments are Yogi's fault....NO ONE can touch his loofurs....lol.
She has come a long way in just a few weeks. She thoroughly adores me, & has won a place in my heart as well. Here is a pic of her watching my son leave....she hates anyone to leave the house. This pic isn't bad, you should see the face on the other side....will break your heart! |
