Then I read that you found out it was a kill shelter and wanted to give her another chance. I'm reading this praying I get to the end and will read that it worked out.

God bless you for giving sweet Jillian a chance, and a second chance. You are doing such a wonderful thing. Dont give up on her...she is actually making great strides in such a short time. She loves you so much already and is sooooo blessed to have you for her mommy.
You are so right Bitsy. I worried about the size difference, she was double the size of my largest yorkie (he's 7.3), and that was when I could still feel every bone in her body. She weighed 13 lbs then, am sure she is heavier now. When she showed signs of snapping at them, I freaked! But that was solved after only 40 mins or so of a sharing my lap game. I also freaked a little after she bit a visitor yesterday, but as I said before, I think it was because she came to me too quickly in too short a time. Others have been here & weren't bitten. Also, I will recognize the strange bark she gives now before she snaps or bites.

The important thing is she snuggles with the other dogs already, & they share the doggie beds with her. She does need to hog my lap, but doesn't even lift her head when the other dogs come up too. Her & my Yogi are great buds already, & Buttons even allows herself to "tolerate" her. There are still little arguments, but nothing even remotely serious this last week. Most of the arguments are Yogi's fault....NO ONE can touch his loofurs....lol.

She has come a long way in just a few weeks. She thoroughly adores me, & has won a place in my heart as well. Here is a pic of her watching my son leave....she hates anyone to leave the house. This pic isn't bad, you should see the face on the other side....will break your heart!
