YT 2000 Club Member | So am I totally crazy for leaving my heated mattress pad on for my dogs.. its been so cold here and when they come in from out side they are so cold that they bolt right to my bed.. Its on low of course, warm enough to keep them toasty. If my hubby knew he would think it was nuts..

| That's not crazy to me. I have a space heater right next to my puppies bed in my bedroom and one in the den by their other bed when I let them out. Not crazy at all. They are so small and close to the floor. When I get down to play with them the the air is colder down there where they are, than it is 5' feet higher where I am. You are NOT nuts!! |

| Absolutely not! When it as cold as it has been in the US, precautions are definitely needed to help keep our babies healthy. What most do not realize, is that when they are cold, most of the calories taken in are used in maintaining their body heat. This leaves very little energy for the rest of the organ systems to function with. Giving them a source of heat, helps them to maintain their core temperature, and keeps the calories for vital use elsewhere. You are just being a great mom! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes, you are totally crazy....in love with your furbabies that is! I've actually been looking for a heated doggie bed, because I know when I'm not home, my little ones hang in the living room. It is hardwood floors in there, & I don't think the bed they use is warm enough. Would be nice if they invented a battery operated one, as I feel nervous leaving things on when I'm at work. I would never forgive myself if the house caught on fire while I was gone

| No worse than leaving the tv on when I leave Bella. Noise and warmth. |

| I am totally mental too. When Jamie comes back from her morning walk with DH, I have a hot towel that I heat up in the microwave waiting for her. DH doesn't mind but he does ask where is his. |
