| Absolutely not! When it as cold as it has been in the US, precautions are definitely needed to help keep our babies healthy.
What most do not realize, is that when they are cold, most of the calories taken in are used in maintaining their body heat. This leaves very little energy for the rest of the organ systems to function with. Giving them a source of heat, helps them to maintain their core temperature, and keeps the calories for vital use elsewhere.
