| I'm sorry to say that it really sounds like she purposely let them breed. Clearly she has been negligent. Please keep us up dated on your choice. |

| Spay her in 2 or 3 weeks...you will not even know for sure her is or isn't...there is a slightly higher risk in spaying while they are in full heat...but 2 weeks later was never a problem for the dozens I have known done... |

| I have no experience or advise, but please post this in the breeder section. tI just makes sense that a pup, that young and still a baby herself may have issues. Not only with the risk to her life, but if she survives the delivery, she may not be mature enough to handle being a mama and reject her babies. To say the least, I'm sure she would be terrified. So very sorry this happened to you and will all the stress of moving too.

| I had a poodle that was in the 5th week of her heat cycle and she got out the door while being replaced...When we found her it looked as though a larger dog had gotten to her so I phoned the vet. and they suggested to wait a few weeks and then to have her spayed..we went in three weeks after this happened and sure enough, the mating had happened. they charged about $40 more, but there were no complications...good luck, sounds like your situation is different, because we did not know what Keisha had been with. we figured a larger dog and did not want to risk losing her....She lived to be 16 years old before passing 3 years ago.... |
