				 | Actually I was only joking when I said I need some excitement in my life. I really don't like to see violence unless it's on tv. However I can't stand people who have an attitude like that. btw the man does know about pet safe de icer. There have been other complaints about him before. He's just a mean bean. Anyway this morning I saw the man walking his dog on the other side of the street. I guess he doesn't want any problems with this nut. There are so many people on this block that hate him that if something happens to him or anything like that he's not going to know who to blame. Actually my neighbor said that last summer somebody poured a couple of large bottles of dawn in his pool he said it looked like a giant bubble bath. I just moved here a year ago so I never met him and I don't think I want to and as I said I'm glad my dogs are confined to my fenced in yard. |

				 | not only that but if the neighbor is nasty enough, you don't know what he'd do to the dog. my nephew's dog was just poisoned with rat poisoning right after he came back home from a visit with me. so sad! there's no proof and they've heard he's done it before.

				 | Well as long as he's not harming my puppies I'm staying out of it. To think I moved out of Queens to get away from things like this. Well it goes to prove, there are jerks all over and you can't escape. |

				 | I think some people just like to bully. It makes them feel superior. Too bad they do not know what they are missing out on by not loving a pet. |

				 | There was a situation a few years ago at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Apparently someone was tired on stepping in dog poop at the park and after complaining numerous times to the park workers, decided to take matters into his own hands. All of a sudden, dogs started getting sick after going to the park...some passed. There were small pieces of meat laced with freon thrown around the park. People were advised to keep their dogs away from the park, or walk them with a muzzle to keep them from ingesting the poisoned meat. They could never prove that that guy did it. Talk about crazy people!!

				 | I understand why your upset. It would be nice if everyone cared about pets and their well being whether they are their pet or not but not everyone does so we have to do our best to keep them safe and happy

				 | pet safe de-icer I believe that most people DO NOT use the pet safe de-icer. The cost is much higher and that is one thing people don't want to buy in the first place, let alone one that will cost more. I'm sure many of you know how many farmers feel. They don't do any vet care for their dogs and cats because they are just 'animals' that can be replaced. I know a friend that hs a heck of a time with her husband when she spends extra money on care for her farm cats for vacs etc. He has big $$, spends a fortune on his horses, but, for dogs and cats? No way, they are not worth it. Many people don't like animals I don't get it, but it is a fact. |

				 | I have to agree with one poster. He is doing what he is suppose to do. Shovel and salt the side walk if some one walking on it does not like his choice of product, then that is their problem. My problem is my my furbaby and I put boots on his feet to protect him. I am certainly not going to walk down my street and tell people what they should or should not spend their money on because I don't like it. On goes Andy's boots and coat, I am grateful that people shoveled and salted so people and little furbabies don't have to trudge through deep snow. JMO

				 | In Michigan were I'm from it is the property owners responsiblity to handle the side walk and drive way if it snows or theres ice or any other problems. It wasn't the mean guys responsibility to make sure there was pet safe de-icer in front of his home. IMHO, I think the reaction by the pet owner was wrong by yelling and that is probably what put the man on even more of a defense. Although I love my pets and promote pet responsiblity not all people are like that. Both pet lovers and non-pet lovers have to have an understanding that we can agree to disagree. The violence was overboard, but you can't expect non-pet lovers or owners to be responsible for the neighborhood pet population. He was taking care of his responsibility...his own house.

				 | I guess you're all right about the de icer. However the man's attitude was really bad that's what got to me. Also the fact that everybody is always fighting with this man. This man put barbed wire on his fence I was told and it almost ripped one of the neighbor's cat's stomach opened. I understand that he has a right to put any de icer he wants but since he is a neighbor and he knows that almost everybody around him has animals he could be a little more consderate. I'm telling you one day something is going to happen to him, his home, or his family and he's not going to know who done it.!!!!!!!!! |
