| does this mean she is getting close? Well, I noticed this mornign when we were snuggling in the bed waking up that Taylah's ears were up! Then of cours when she woke fully up, and started playing, they went back to floppy. lol (still cute though, don't get me wrong). And now, she is in her crate sleeping on her side and her ears are up... Anyone know if this is a start? lol Do they do this sometimes and then work their way to staying up all the time? Im a goober I know! lol

| My Little boys ears have always been up. My little girls ears would flop over most of the time, we shaved them that helped out alot . they are now up all the time. |

| I had to tape Chloe's ears to get them up and they still want to droop sometimes, but Lacey's ears were up when we got her as a pup and never droop. Chloe's hair is heavier, cottony and Lacey's is silky. I think weight and teething are probably the factors. You can tape them, sprinkle Carnation Instant Milk on her food and massage them often to strengthen. |

| I got Spikey when he was 7 1/2 weeks, his ears were down. I waited patiently for his ears to go up at 12 weeks, they didn't. When he layed down, his ears were up, but once he stood up, they flopped down. Then I finally did some research on shaving and taping yorkies' ears. I found out it is not as cruel and complicated as what I thought. I shaved and trimmed his ears and taped for 4 days and now his ears are permanently up. Give it a try. Mine was so afraid of electric clipper, my husband ended up using his manual shaver and trimmed his ears with a pair of hair scissors. It turned out well. Make sure you shave 1/3 top portion of his ears and then wet his ears (make sure water don't go inside the ears) and then trim the side of the ears. I used medical tape and gauze to tape his ears. If you don't want to tape his ears, you can massage his ears 2x per day. This will also help the ears to stand. |

| My Lilly is 5 months now. SHe has one up and one down. Poor baby was born with very large ears. LOL Her mom after 4 days of taping, ears were up for good. Not Lilly! Lilly's ears sometimes go up when she is excited or laying down. I will tape again for the last time next week, I hope we get lucky! But shaving is an important part in helping them stand. Good luck!

| Desi will be one year old on December 2nd, and I can now safely say that " BOTH HER EARS ARE FINALLY UP " ..It took almost one year but finally they are up. I am so happy. It was a lot of work and constant attention.
