| Has anyone tried the Wizdog?? That could be the answer to my problems...IF it works! I have spent a fortune on stuff for these babies that I will never use...like the litter pan!!!

| I really dont know what to say to help you. Gucci use to chew on the pads but stop. I got the pad holder and she tried to chew some but then stop. Good luck. |

| Ginger occasionally tears up her pads. Also, I feel your pain about the poop thing, Ginger used to "play" in her poop when I would leave her in the bathroom. I used to say she "danced" in it b/c it would be all over the floor! She hasn't done that in a LONG time, thank goodness!

I'm not sure if it's the same brand, but Sylvan uses a washable pad, and she has LOTS of furbabies! I seem to recall her posting a thread where you could buy the stuff in large sheets for a better price. Try PMing her to find out more about them. Good luck!

| Thank you for all the helpful suggestions. I am going to wait to see the thread on wizdog and see what people think. I know that this makes no sense...but I bought the petco brand again....and they are not shredding them!!! They are still trying to pull them out of the tray a little bit...but no shredding.....they are spoiled and apparently dont like generic pads....GREAT just like my teenager Thank goodness no more poop smears

| Is the WIZDOG he thing with the grate top???? if it is ... no way would I be scrubbing poo with a toothbrush a million times a day from between the grates...BLECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I used to have a terrible problem when I put Cowboy and Miss Pee Pee Pants together in a pen. They were fine by themselves but together they would destroy and POoP ALL DAY in the crate. Well Finally I just took the darn paper out because it could NOT be any worse if they pooped on the floor because they already WERE ,plus the shredded mess smeared around. Well I have to say that as soon I removed the Paper ...LOL They started going outside better and way less poopping. Ithink maybe one accident a day now instead of 100 a day.

| My suggestion is trying the washable pads for awhile, just to get them past this nasty stage. If that works, after a couple of weeks put the wee pads on the washable pads. Then go back to just wee pads. Sounds like your babies are easily amused. good luck |

| Roxy and TJ would also make confetti out of the two wee wee pads in their room when I am gone at work. They did it in spurts. I know after long hours they can get bored. My friend said maybe b/c the weather was rainy and windy they went nuts. But they did it on nice sunny days too! So then I got the medium size doggie litter box and I put the wee wee pads in there. I have to fold under the flaps b/c if they see or feel the edges stick out they get the urge to pull and shread again. This worked for a little while, but sure enough I came home 2 days in a row to confetti. So, in the end, when I am not at home the washable piddlepads go inside the doggie litter boxes. When I am at home and they are out of their room, I put the throw away wee wee pads in the boxes. So far so good. I did come home 1x or 2x and they have taken the washable piddlepad out of the box, BUT NO CONFETTII... |

| I have a CHI and she does the same thing. But since I go to school, I leave her in her kennel, and usually when I get home her pad is all messed up and sometimes shredded. But when she is running around the house it does not get shredded (we have a pad in the living room), so maybe your puppies get lonley or bord. Do they do this when you are next to them? Maybe you should give them something that will occupy them, like a rawhide or a greenie. It might work.

| It has been two days now...and ever since I have changed back to the petco brand....no shredding!!! They are back to using the pee pads for what they were intended...instead of a tug of war toy! It makes no sense to me, but there must be something in the wal-mart brand that makes them want to shred and destroy Whatever it is....or isnt in the petco brand...I am going to stick with those for now
