| You can help support Chuchi in his role as 'alpha' but eventually, the pups will sort it out for themselves. As another poster indicated, for now, and to help Chuchi adjust to the pups - treat him like the KING. Greet him first; feed him first; treat him first; up on the bed first; leash him first . . you get the picture. Let him know that he has not lost his status in your house. This will help him not be jealous. Try not to pay more attention to the new, little puppies, then you do to Chuchi. (I know this is hard). Chuchi also needs a 'puppy free' zone where he can have some favorite toys or bones and not be bothered by young puppies constantly pestering him.

| We're getting close to the 24 hour mark since their first encounter. Chuchi seems a bit curious about the 2 new boys in the house, but not excited at all. Sometimes he will sniff them, but doesn't ever want to seem to play with them. If Giorgio goes in his bed he gets out and goes into his crate. If they take one of his toys he doesn't get mad and lets them take it to their bed. I'm really hoping they start to get along soon. It seems like I'm living with 2 groups of dogs for now, Chuchi and the new chihuahuas... |

| It took Ringo a good month before he seemed to even halfway enjoy having Lucy around . . . so don't despair. All of a sudden, your little one came home and his home has been taken over by these little 'intruders'. He'll come around. Be sure to make sure to make him feel special to help foster his relationship with the newcomers.

After Papi did what he did I gave him a 5 minute time out and made him understand not to invade Chuchi's special spots. What I'm waiting for now is for the 3 to interact. The new pups play a lot together but Chuchi seems to want nothing to have to do with them. I'm hoping this will become more fun soon I can't take the 3 to to park yet because the pups still need their last shot on Jan 25

| We just closed on the 24 hours, the 3 are in THEIR room together, but this time Papi and Giorgio are out of their crate and their is no signs of barking or agression. Chuchi still seems distant from the pups but thanks guys for giving me the inspiration that it just takes time and that they will get along. Look forward to posting a pic of my 3 little ones happy together and posing in the near future. Any advice for my boys is always welcome! |

| I have had some of the issues bringing new pups into my house. I have a Laso --not the sweetest temperament!! He used to play and run around and for a long time he wouldn't. It was sad. I also give him "alpha dog treatment" --but his little brother is twice his size and kind of goofy and knocks him around when they go after toys but respects the "pecking order" when it comes to treats, feeding and walking. Then we brought the yorkie home. She thinks she is the alpha dog and life has been interesting ![]() The good news is.... they now sleep together, play and eat together. Sometimes Sammy "does the lip - teeth" snarl at Remy but it is all good. I make sure I give Sammy lots of hugs and attention and I guess overtime it worked. hope that helps

). Chuchi is still keeping his distance and observing them, but to me he is just making sure they are here to stay before opening up (only one day together). Please keep the posts coming, they are all very helpful in helping deal with this wonderful situation in the best way possible.I can't wait for the 3 to act as brothers!!! Feels like a dream!!!
