| How close can you be..? I have had Peanut since he was 10 weeks, Since I got him I felt a strong bond with him. He has always been attached to me, he is Def a Mommas Boy. Seems like he is gettting more attatched, he snuggles more, always by my side, seems like we are always on the same channel. I want to sleep, he sleeps, Im up an moving he is moving right under my feet.. Peanut is 3, Do Yorkies tend to get more "lovable" as they grow older? He is already attached to my hip, I am wondering how much closer can he get lol It is so unbelivable how much love we have for these little Yorkies. They are truly the best breed out there! I just want to squeeze him I love him so much!

| I agree they are the best breed! I have always wanted a yorkie and now that I have him I feel like I loved him before I even knew he was born . He is the best.

| I've noticed Jackson getting more and more attached to me as he's aged. He turned 2 in October and he is definitely more "into" me now more than ever. He still is not what I'd consider a "cuddly" dog... he's not the type I can just pick up and he will lay in my lap for 10 minutes or more. But he always has to be in my view, he will follow me if I get up and go into a different room, he curls up super close to me all night long in bed, and most people can tell I am his "person" for sure. But yeah, I've noticed him getting more cuddly and even more attached to me with age. But we have a really unique and tight bond.

| I just told my husband today that Maddie and I were gonna start sharing my socks. She is always under my feet so she might as well have warm toes. She has always been "into" me but as she gets older, I become more special to her. |

| I've noticed it and Brooklyn only just turned 8 months old yesterday. I got her when she was 9 weeks old. She went through a phase where she was super bad- think terrible twos- and fiercely independent, didn't want to be held for long, etc. Within the past month or so, she has calmed down tremendously and always has to be in the same room as me. She sleeps right up against me and is much more cuddly. She still isn't the lap dog that my Kymmi is, but she's much more cuddly than she was before.

| Dinky is very attached to me. When my DH is home and is watching him while I get ready in the morning, DH can always find him waiting outside my bedroom door. Does anyone know the story of Greyfriar's Bobby? It is a movie, (old B and W) based on the true story of a little dog who held vigil at his master's grave for 14 years. There is a statue of him in Edinburgh. I have a little framed drawing of it, and when Dinky sits waiting for me, he looks like that little dog. I don't know what breed Bobby was, but he was certainly Yorkie like in his devotion. If I get another boy Yorkie, I think Bobby would be a good name! |

| Maxman has always been affectionate and very close to his people, but it does seem that he is even more so now that he is 2. I think it is a combination of maturity and a strong bond that developed over time. Teddy came to us from his breeder at 8 months old. He is a sweetie, but he wasn't lovey in the same way - maybe because he thought that it was Max's territory. Now he is a lapsitter, a kisser, a hugger, and a snuggler.

| Mama girl !!! Miley has been mama girl since day one, if I'm home she is with me 24/7. If I go out or have to travel they tell me she doesn't came out only to eat and go out side, a few time a day. But she will hide all day and won't play. Now Max everyone say he is a little wh??e, he is over any one that will pet him, He doesn't care if he never meet them. I guess every dog is different. | Trixie has been a mama's girl since day one!! She has a unique relationship with each member of our immediate family...she thinks our 16 year old son is her playmate and chewtoy...she likes to play fight with my dh at bedtime, but then snuggles in with him for a while (then she leaves him for me lol) and will snuggle on the couch with our 18 year old daughter and will wait outside of her room for her (god forbid she gets into that den of mess). How close can you get....well, Trixie sleeps in our bed, naps on the couch with us and follows us into the bathroom... as far as I am concerned...that is about as close as close can be.

| my fur babies My little Remy has my husband wrapped around her paw.. she follows him every where... yes even to the bathroom -if he doesn't close the door fast enough. She sleeps on my head (top of pillow). If one of us sits down for a sec. she has hopped onto our laps! The boys (shih tuz) are close also, the follow me room to room and are often lay with their rumps on my feet facing out, I think they are guarding me I love them all so much ... and I get such joy watching them play!! They are my babies!!! S

| I am so glad to hear all of this! I thought that maybe Hot Rod and I were odd balls. I just can't get over how much I am attached to him. Maggie is becoming very much a love bug and wants to snuggle alot now but not near as much as Hot Rod. He and I share a different kind of bond as he help me through the loss of my beloved 13 year cat. He definitely has me wrapped around his litte paw and there is no where else I would rather be.
