Maxman has always been affectionate and very close to his people, but it does seem that he is even more so now that he is 2. I think it is a combination of maturity and a strong bond that developed over time.
Teddy came to us from his breeder at 8 months old. He is a sweetie, but he wasn't lovey in the same way - maybe because he thought that it was Max's territory. Now he is a lapsitter, a kisser, a hugger, and a snuggler.
