Senior Yorkie Talker | I am not worried so much about when I am home, more like when I am not home for 12 hours 3 days a week. Nursing has 12 hour shifts here. My family loves her too but I do worry when it is not me. Can we say control issues. lol jk jk I'm sure they will be careful when I am not there. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Generally I believe in relaxed dog ownership, but I would be SUPER controlling in this case. It sounds like you have a plan in place with the ramps. Is the pool ever covered? If so, could she possibly get stuck underneath it? I would do my utmost to make sure my family was totally committed to pool safety. Again, I would want an alarm, or at least a fence with a big sign on both sides of the gate: "WHERE IS THE DOG?"
