| Yes, It does. I do take an oversized purse, with essentials for me and my dog. Put my money and ID in my pocket, because they will request that the oversized purse be stowed overhead.

| Yup, $200 each way on lufthansa to fly transatlantic. My dog weighs 3.5 pounds, on what planet does that price make any sense at all?? But yet I still pay it, to and from, twice a year. I did the math and it costs about $40 a day for in home pet care in Berlin where I live, and if I go to my parents for more than 10 days, the cost of the plane is cheaper! |

| Oh but on lufthansa, the dog and bag counts as excess baggage, so you still get a carry on and a personal item. |
