Donating YT 500 Club Member | Taycie hates the vacuum as well. I HAVE to put her in her crate while I do this chore or she will literally attack the vacuum. She comes up to it growls bites, barks, and has a slight freak out session. Oh yes, she HATES IT! |

| Just before I came across this thread, DH pulled out our brand new Kirby to vaccum the sunroom. He noticed that the cord has been chewed almost all the way through. It (the cord) has been kept carefully wrapped up when not in use, as well as put away in the closet away from the furs. Neo is SO neurotic about our cleaning appliances! He barks and bites and raises hell every time Dh or myself pulls out something to clean with. If we leave it out, he will lay by it and growl. If we leave him alone with it. he goes for the cord! We have had to replace the cord on every appliance at least once, sometimes twice! Now its our new almost 2K Kirby!!! I think I need to wrap all cords in metal conduit! |

| Sandy's so afraid of the vacuum cleaner since he was a puppy. When I tell him, 'Sandy, mommy's going to take BOO BOO out now, go, run and hide!!' He'll run and hide behind the sofa. He knows BOO BOO is the vacuum cleaner *lol* |

| So, Bella isn't the only one, huh? Bella goes nuts when I vaccuum or sweep. She will bark, run around like crazy, and just generally become a nuisance. I've tried letting her "investigate" the vaccuum cleaner and broom but as soon as they move, she's at it again. I don't know if she is actually scared or if it is a game. My other dogs (lhasa's) lay on the sofa and look at her like she's nuts! |
