I have seen people walk past my house and go running out in barefeet in the winter, a few months ago I yelled to a woman, "stop what do you have", she was carrying a small puppy, it was a 3 month old Morkie, I said bring him here so I can see him, she wound up coming inside for an hour I gave her, a harness (she was using a collar) treats and some sample dog food. I was hoping to see her again because she lives a few streets over and has a fenced in yard. She must not be very friendly since she has never contacted me again not even to say thank you for what I gave her. I told my husband she must have thought I was a stalker!!! so I know what you mean

Hmm, suprised Heide has not showered with Gabby yet.Doesyour little one like showers over baths? Even though she loves to swim in the lake, she does not care for baths or showers. The shower is easy, it's large and I just take her in when I go so I think it is quicker. Sometimes I can even get my husband to do it

Wow, sounds like a lot of work to have a yorkie party.That's great to be able to find a party for only yorkies. I see your from MI,I used to live in MI. Some of my family live in Dearborn. I am about 45 min, from Dearborn. This will be the first one I host and it's always a big deal because we have food, games, contests, a white elephant exchange, and a craft. but it should be fun, it's next Saturday and my plan is to have a friend without a dog come to take pictures and a video, it is an Easter theme. I will most likely post photos on the picture forum.

I am a total Yorkie stalker and it's real bad when Georgie isn't with me....I am sure people think I am really nuts!

I also shower with Georgie he doesn't like showers or baths but he stays a little more still with showers.

Georgie literally is our child so we sleep with him (just realized I put sleep with him but that's so appropriate LOL), cuddle with him let him lick us all over our faces, feed him by hand, put him in my shirt and let him lay on me while I work from home you name it we do it for our furry boy

I know I am missing many others.I am just glad my wife talked me into getting our baby.I love this little girl sooo much.

I thought I would never give a dog a bath in my kitchen sink. I know it gross but he is my baby. Lol. I never thought I would let a dog sleep with me but I do now. Like you all have said, its something about a yorkie that makes us do things we said we would never do.

What a wonderful thread! I can so relate...just watching DH, who never thought he'd like having a 'small dog' with 'the kids'...carrying them all dressed up in cute little clothes...lol I mean, on Valentine's Day, I didn't want to leave them home alone to go out to dinner...I'd rather have shared cold organic uncured hot dogs right out of the pack with my kids than leave them home. Then DH said he didn't want to leave them home either, so we fetched Chinese take out and stayed home with them. It was the best Valentine's Day and watched the Yorkie Valentine's Day Ball!
