| What about researching a reputable drop in doggy day care in MB? I think there should be a yorkie talk member that could recommend one for an hour or 2 while you were at dinner. I would check it out. |

| This sounds like a good idea to me, instead of hiring a sitter. |

| I definitely vote to take him with you. I take mine with me always. I don't have problems leaving them to the hotel. I just make sure I take them for a long walk before I leave them alone and I let the tv play so they have some noise in the room. If they are tired they just sleep until I come back. I believe that its better to leave them in a hotel room for a few hours than to leave them home for some days Maria |

You can still have lots of fun.....its just different. You can always set your table nicely, get your friends round and have a take out, if its too cold to sit outside a restaurant.

| Take her This past may we took two of our furbabies with us on our 3 week vacationa dn had a blast...we were able to take them many places...and when we couldn't we crated them. I would bring them with you. Check out the area and call hte chamber of commerce and ask for pet friendly places (resturants)...many that have outside dining will allow you to bring them. Enjoy

| Great Advice! Thanks for all of the great advice! I guess I've already had it in my head she was going with us...as I've made all of the necessary arrangements keeping her in mind I was looking for some insight on how other people have managed their vacations around it and maybe some reassurance that we can have an enjoyable vacation while not being "stuck at the hotel" also. I will just take her playpen, crate and stroller and we will enjoy the beach!! It's more economical ordering in anyway right??? She really is our baby and goes everywhere with us. My husband and kids are on board as well, it wasn't even a question for them whether or not she would go. My husband was super sweet when I questioned it and said simply, it will be more relaxing knowing she is taken care of and we can work around whatever we need to! She has her routine and I know that no one else would probably "cater to her" like we do and it would be harder for her, I would be a wreck! Thanks for the support...its nice to get feedback from people who relate!!
