| Thinking about getting Patrón a little buddy? Comments? Well this past week I have been entertaining the idea of getting another Yorkie from the breeder I purchased Patrón from but I am really unsure of if I should wait till he is a little older or go for it now. =/ Any comments from parents of two furbabies plus in their home? Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated! Patrón turns five months on Oct 26th. |

| I have two, but I waited until mine was almost 2 before adding another. I say as long as you are okay with having two puppies, go for it!

| Thanks for the comments!! I am really considering it because Patrón has just brought so much joy into my life after a very severe head trauma accident happened. |

No Longer a Member | Yep, getting a single yorkie is like opening a bag of chips and expecting to eat only one of them...it never happens, lol! Go for it if you can handle 2 puppies, or wait until later and in the meantime just have a bunch of playdates to get your fix |

| I never had a small dog before, but after I was in a car accident I found our large dog too much for my left arm to handle. Darwin is great company when I'm having a bad day and now we have Mabel. They keep each other company and play all day, between naps. It's also taken the pressure off of me being Darwin's only playmate! Not sure if I could handle two puppies at the same time, but I think as long as your first is house trained it won't be so hard to have two - good luck! |

| It was my idea to get a Yorkie. DH didn't really like the idea because he didn't like small dogs. When we brought Sandy home, he's in love and he wants another Yorkie so that Sandy has a friend We've spoken to the same breeder and she suggested only to have another one when Sandy's at least 18 months old (he turned 1 in August). We'll have to wait until next spring for a new puppy. I hope she will have one available at that time. |

| If you can do it, then go for it. I only have Duke and have thought about getting a sibling for him. However, I won't be able to leave both with my family when I go away so that stopped me from getting another one
